Our shop was established in 1984 in a little storefront at the edge of town.  We were there three years, then needed more space as the area became more widely known.
       So we moved into an old grocery store building uptown, and have been expanding ever since.  We now have a separate house for our Needle Arts department "CCC, Too!", which carries a complete line of counted cross stitch supplies and punchneedle!
      In our two-story building, we have departments for many fabrics, walls of patterns, a complete wool room, specialty yarns, rubber stamping, scrapbooking, painting, & stenciling!

Tucked into the very front of the shop, this little corner inside the front window is filled with fun things to buy!  We're often asked to sell our models for the patterns we carry, which we don't do!  But- here you can find those samples we have chosen to sell, have discontinued, etc.  Here also are seasonal decor items, and year-round necessities such as candle lights, coffee mixes, etc.!

On shelves, in cupboards, on walls- anyplace we find space, we fill with samples of our patterns to give you the bonus of seeing them "in person"!

Running the entire length of the shop, this aisle is filled with patterns and books!  Anything from wearables, handbags, bears, bunnies, and dolls, to wallhangings, quilts, & home decor!

A new line which is fun to stitch on is our line of fleece shirts and jackets!

The sky's the limit, and we have the rainbow of colors to put there!!  Ranging in sizes from SM - 2XL, colors vary with the seasons!

Another popular corner in our shop is right here by the sweatshirts!  A rainbow of colors in several styles and fabrics!

We search to bring you the best quality and most unique colors!  We have regular and boxy cuts.  One of the best-selling styles is the pigment-dyed shirts in soft washed colors!

We carry other wearables such as quilted denim jackets, denim jumpers, denim shirts and tee shirts.

Many of the wearables are featured in Backyard Friends designs as well as other store models.  We keep them available as long as possible!

Our shelves are full of quality fabrics in rich colors!

You'll find some shelves rotating with the seasons and others full of staples such as muslin, osnaburg, flannels, and more!

In the center of the shop, surrounded by a swirl of fabrics is our main cutting table!

The wall behind is filled with quilts, shirts, purses, & more to inspire you!  Most of our models are done by shop employees, and Marlene is instrumental in doing many of these!

She also designs a line of original patterns which you can find in our store.  Here she's working on a new one!

A favorite of our customers are our fat quarters!  These are 18"X22" pieces of fabric, and we cut them from homespuns, brushed homespuns, & prints!

This allows you to choose just what you need and co-ordinate them with others, without a trip to the cutting table!
Also popular are our "Little Bits" - 5 1/2" squares of homespun for those little applique pieces.
